Crossfield Technology was founded in 2003 by Mr. Dennis Ferguson and Dr. Gary McMillian. Both share a common vision to deliver high-quality products and services to Crossfield Technology's customers and to advance the state-of-the-art in technology through directed research and development.Mr. Dennis Ferguson
Prior to founding Crossfield Technology, Mr. Ferguson held technology management positions at several companies including Theseus Logic, Tantivy Communications, and Honeywell. Mr. Ferguson has an extensive background in RFIC/MMIC front-end design, analog/mixed signal design, RF MEMS, RFID systems, and base stations using software defined radio techniques. During his employment at Honeywell, Mr. Ferguson was instrumental in creating and managing the Honeywell Technology Center's RF/Wireless group and led several technology developments involving extremely low power RFIC front-ends, millimeterwave sensors, DSP based radios, and radio networks.
Dr. Gary McMillian
Prior to founding Crossfield Technology, Dr. McMillian served as Chief Technology Officer of aRTiCA Semiconductor, Inc., Chief Architect of Flow Engines, Inc., Vice President, Chief Technology Officer of PhotonRoute Communications Corporation, and Vice President, Chief Technology Officer of Systems & Processes Engineering Corporation. His technical areas of expertise include network and storage protocols, wireless communications, direct digital synthesis, signal processing and instrumentation. He has extensive experience in architectural design, analysis and simulation of digital and wireless signal processing systems and integrated circuits.
